To promote general public interest in archaeology in Southern Nevada.
To encourage adequate retention of materials in Southern Nevada, retention of notes or copies thereof of all Southern Nevada excavations and publishing of said notes in the established manner, and under the above to lend active assistance to duly authorized, professionally qualified persons in all matters pertaining to the archaeology and history of Southern Nevada.
To actively support the development of adequate interpretive facilities for the display, preservation and scientific study of such artifacts so that a continuing program of educational value concerning Southern Nevada archaeology and history will be available to the general public.
To support Federal and State laws for the preservation of antiquities.
To promote awareness of the archaeology of Southern Nevada through a program supporting education, outreach and activities and to act as bridge between archaeological professionals and students, the avocational interested archaeological public and other stakeholders in the community.
